L3Wescam

First Gulf constructed this 330,000 sf research and development, engineering, assembly and office space at Highway 5 and Highway 6 in Hamilton for L3 Wescam. The new building, located on approximately 18 acres of land, will bring the company’s two Burlington facilities under one roof. 

With 1,400 employees, L3 WESCAM is a true Canadian success story. Their advanced Electro-Optic / Infrared (EO IR), laser imaging and targeting sensor systems provide unparalleled image stability and long-range detection capability to defense, military, Homeland Security and airborne law enforcement agencies worldwide. Their continued growth required a new facility that will see the company return to its Hamilton roots.
