First Gulf has been a premier developer and builder in the Halton Hills Industrial Park (just north of Steeles Avenue) for more than a decade. So when Triovest began looking to develop a 28.7-acre site directly off of Steeles, First Gulf was a well-established choice for a design-builder. With prime access to major highways (such as Highway 401), as well as close proximity to numerous amenities and transit options, Triovest knew they had the perfect location for a premier logistics facility, and they needed a design-builder who could work with them to deliver a multi-phased building.
After an extensive bid process, First Gulf was successfully awarded this large industrial deal in the Spring of 2016, and has already begun work on Phase 1 of this 564,000 sf logistical facility for a January 2017 completion of the first phase. The finished project will provide over 200 passenger vehicle parking spaces, 90 truck-level doors, and more than 104 trailer parking spaces, providing unprecedented flexibility for the right tenant to join some of the well-established corporate neighbours already set up in the Halton Hills Business Park.
